Denmark – Proposal to remove 25% VAT rate on fruits and vegetables

In order to promote healthier diet and reduce household costs, the Conservative Party in Denmark proposed the removal of 25% VAT rate on fruit and vegetables. There is no commitment to this change and due to complex system adjustments the change may take several years to implement.
