Latvia – Proposed increase of VAT registration threshold to €50,000 in 2024

Latvia is proposing to increase the VAT registration threshold for resident businesses from €40,000 to €50,000 from the 1st January 2024.

This measure is part of Latvia’s draft budget that is subject to the Parliament’s approval.

Non-resident business will continue to have a nil-threshold, in case they need to register in Latvia.
