Portugal – Deadline date extension for certain VAT declarations

As a result of difficulties in taxpayers accessing the VAT Authority website due to the electricity blackouts and disruptions of the online services, deadline dates have been extended for below listed declarations as follows:

• The details of invoices issued during April 2025 can be filed until 9th May 2025,
• VAT return for the period of March 2025 and the quarterly VAT return related to the first year quarter of 2025 can be filed until 26th May 2025 with payment being made until 30th May 2025,
• EC Sales list declaration for the period of April 2025 can be filed until 26th May 2025.
