Greece – Mandatory e-invoicing

Greece officially confirmed the introduction of a mandatory B2B e-invoicing on a phased basis with following timelines: Greece – Mandatory e-invoicing

•2nd February 2026: Large businesses

•1st October 2026: All other businesses

Mandatory e-invoicing will apply to domestic B2B transactions and export to non EU countries. Issuance of e-invoices for sales to EU businesses will be optional.

Companies operating in Greece should review their existing software to understand if it is capable to integrate with e-invoicing requirement and train their staff on the new processes.
