Hungary – Intrastat threshold for 2026
Hungary has increased its Intrastat reporting thresholds for the 2026 calendar year. These changes are designed to simplify compliance for smaller businesses by reducing the number of entities required to file statistical declarations.
New Intrastat Thresholds for 2026
Effective 1st January 2026, the reporting thresholds in Hungary are set at:
– Arrivals: Increased to HUF 500 million (up from HUF 400 million in 2025).
– Dispatches: Increased to HUF 200 million (up from HUF 160 million in 2025).
Key Compliance Details
– Businesses must begin submitting monthly Intrastat declarations as soon as their total intra-EU trade value within a 12-month period exceeds these thresholds.
– Declarations must be filed with the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH) by the 15th day of the month following the reference period.
